Lonely Planet has compiled a list of the world's 100 most romantic spots and the beach at Aphrodite's Rock makes for a very interesting addition to the list. Lonely Planet has included the Paphos beach amidst the local legend that the Goddess of Love had emerged from the sea's foam.
The 'Meeting Place' at London's St Pancras has also made it to the list by Lonely Planet. This place boasts of a nine meter high bronze sculpture of a couple hugging which symbolizes the parting and meeting of many loved ones that happens. The Taj Mahal in India is an obvious addition to the romantic hotspot list by Lonely Planet. Even the Heart Reef on Australia's Great Barrier Reef, Juliet's House in Verona, Alley of the Kiss in Mexico and the Eiffel Tower in las Vegas have made it to the top 100 according to Lonely Planet.
The entire list will be published as a part of "The World's Most Romantic Spots" in the new Lonely Planet book which will retail from September 27.
