Travelers in Tennessee should beware of a cheap travel scam called the Vacation Station members only travel club. Some members claim they have lost thousands of dollars to this scam, including the Eldridge family who ended up paying $2,000 in response to high-pressure sales tactics by the company.
They say that the salesman didn't give them any time to do research or think about the decision. When they later realized that they could have booked their trip to St. Kitts for a lot cheaper somewhere else, the contacted the company which said they would match any lower price. But when the Eldridge's requested a refund because they were promised cheaper deals, the company refused to give them one. Some customers who contacted the Better Business Bureau have been able to get refunds through this channel.
